Adam Levine gets 'serious' with model Nina Agdal

Things are really heating up between Adam Levine and model Nina Agdal.

The relationship between the Maroon 5 frontman and the Sports Illustrated beauty is “getting serious,” an industry source dished to us Wednesday.

Levine, 34, and Agdal, 21, have been seeing each other for at least a few months, and have recently been spotted out and about together.

“He’s been flaunting her around town,” the source said.

“He likes she has a lot of energy,” the source added.

The pair spent Memorial Day weekend together after Agdal accompanied high school senior Jake Davidson, 17, to his prom in California. Davidson initially asked SI model Kate Upton to the dance via YouTube, but Agdal filled in when Upton couldn’t make it.

Levine previously dated model Behati Prinsloo and, before that, model Anne Vyalitsyna.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, Levine caused some controversy on NBC’s “The Voice,” on which he’s a mentor. He was heard saying “I hate this country” after two contestants were voted off the show. Yesterday, he clarified his comments, telling Us Weekly he loves the USA after earlier tweeting the definitions of “joke,” “humorless,” “lighthearted” and “misunderstand.”
