Adam Sandler the most overpaid actor in Hollywood: Forbes

Adam Sandler is making way too much moolah for the film flops he's been starring in lately.

The funnyman is the most overpaid actor in Hollywood, according to a new report in Forbes magazine, because he's been raking in $15 million-plus movie paychecks even though many of his recent projects, like "Jack and Jill" and "That's My Boy," have performed oh-so-poorly at the box office.

To create its list, Forbes examined actors' three most recent movie projects over the last three years, ending in June 2013. According to Forbes, Sandler $3.40 for every $1 paid.

Meanwhile, actress Katherine Heigl was the second most overpaid actor on the list, while Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon took the No. 3 spot. Nicolas Cage, Kevin James and Oscar winner Denzel Washington rounded out the top six spots.
