Aerosmith, NKOTB and more to play 'Boston Strong' benefit concert
Some big names in music are proving they're Boston Strong.
Tickets go on sale Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. for a benefit concert featuring Beantown natives Aerosmith, New Kids on the Block and Boston, plus other acts including James Taylor, Carole King and Jimmy Buffett. The show is scheduled for May 30 at Boston's TD Garden, with tickets ranging from $35 to $285.
The concert, dubbed "Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration," benefits The One Fund Boston, which was set up in the wake of last month's Bostom Marathon bombings to help those affected most by the tragedy.
"Like so many other proud Bostonians who have been extremely generous, we are honored to step up and do our part to help the victims and their families," NKOTB's Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement.
