The city’s Department of Sanitation will begin picking up trash again Monday.
The agency said that its crews would resume limited garbage and recycling collection, but did not say when regular pickups would be fully restored.
Mounds of snow left from last week’s storm, which dumped 19 inches of the white stuff on the city, continue to delay crews, the agency said.
The sanitation department came under fire by New Yorkers when last month’s blizzard caused a lengthy delay in trash pickup.
