Could Alfonso Soriano return to the Bronx? The Cubs outfielder and former Yankees second baseman wouldn't rule it out when asked by reporters about the possibility on Sunday, the same day Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson went down with a broken forearm.

"I don't know [if] they are going to call or not," Soriano said. "If they call for me, I would have to think about it."

The loss of Granderson leaves a hole in left field, where the veteran was projected to move this season after playing center since coming to New York in 2010. If the Yankees were to pursue Soriano, the former Yankee would have to waive his no-trade rights.

With Granderson expected back in May, adding Soriano would make for a crowded outfield when the former returns.
