amNY's 2010-11 NBA predictions
MVP: Dwight Howard, Orlando
By leading the league in both rebounds and blocks for a third straight season, Superman will finally win his greatest individual award.
Rookie of the Year: Blake Griffin, L.A. Clippers
Not since Emeka Okafor in 2004-05 has a big man won the award, but the superathletic Griffin, recovered from injury, is the man to do it.
Coach of the Year: Tom Thibodeau, Chicago
The first-year coach will lead to Bulls to 50-plus wins for the first time since Michael Jordan left the team.
NBA champion: Miami Heat defeat L.A. Lakers, 4-2
Not even the defending champs will prevent LeBron James from claiming the first of several titles he appears destined to win with Miami.
