It's time for "SNL" fans to bid farewell to Kristen Wiig.

The funnygal was given an emotional sendoff on this weekend's season finale of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," ending longtime speculation that this season would be Wiig's seventh and last.

Host Mick Jagger kicked off the goodbye in a high school graduation-themed sketch, in which he played a principal and Wiig and her fellow co-stars wore caps and gowns.

“Many of you are moving on to college but I’d like to take a moment to say goodbye to one particular student who is leaving us this summer ... Kristen, could you come up here, please?” Jagger said. “You’ve meant quite a lot to us over these past seven years — she got held back — so the music department got together and prepared a song to say goodbye. This one’s for you.”

A teary Wiig then stood up, hugging and dancing with castmates, “SNL” honcho Lorne Michaels and former co-stars like Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch until the credits rolled.

Rumor has it that castmembers Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg also won’t return next season.
