The Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations were just a warm-up for Thursday's big announcement: the nominees for the Academy Awards.
With 12 noms, Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" led the pack, followed by Ang Lee's "Life of Pi," which garnered 11 nominations. Some very familiar Oscar faces - including Robert De Niro, Alan Arkin and Philip Seymour Hoffman - were joined by newcomers such as 9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis ("Beasts of the Southern Wild"), who made history as the youngest best actress nominee ever.
