Mother Nature has decided to hit Gotham with more heat.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for New York City until Thursday as temperatures are expected to reach 96 degrees Monday, 96 degrees Tuesdayand 92 degrees for the following two days.

The city will provide relief with cooling centers and free water fountains citywide. Administrators for the city's Office of Emergency Management warned New Yorkers to avoid strenuous activities and to drink plenty of fluids.
