Another SNL cast member announces departure from show

Another "Saturday Night Live" cast member has announced that her run is over.

Abby Elliott, who impersonated Katy Perry, Rachel Maddow and Khloe Kardashian, among others, told entertainment website Splitsider Wednesday that she would not be returning.

Elliot, 25, who is the daughter of "SNL" alum Chris Elliott, joined the show in 2008.

Veteran "SNL" stars Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig announced earlier in the summer that they would be leaving the show to explore other acting opportunities.

Rumors have swirled that Jason Sudeikis would also depart, but the actor has not confirmed anything.
