The MTA will vote this week on plans to bring an Apple Store and a Shake Shack to Grand Central Terminal.

Apple would take over a balcony near the station’s main concourse, which restaurant Metrazur has occupied since the terminal was renovated in 1998.

The MTA will vote on a 10-year lease with an option for Apple to stay an additional 10 years. The rent will start at $800,000 and increase to over $1 million annually.

The transit agency will also vote to approve a 10-year lease to Shake Shack with an average rent of nearly $500,000 per year, plus a percentage of profits.

The MTA’s finance committee will discuss the proposals Monday and could formally approve the leases on Wednesday.
