Ashley Judd may be trading in acting gigs for a political one.
The 44-year-old actress had a private meeting with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C., earlier this week, according to Politico.
This was her first meeting with the DSCC, which is in charge of fundraising and grassroots initiatives and competitive candidate recruitment for the Senate.
This could indicate that the star may be preparing to run for Senate against Mitch McConnell in Kentucky, who is up for re-election next year.
If Judd decides to go for it, she will be the first female Hollywood star to run for the Senate.
