Is it ever time to put away the boots and suede booties, or can I wear them through the spring?
-Shelby S., Murray Hill
Suede booties with dresses can be a fun, stylish alternative to heels or flats throughout the spring. But when the temperature really rises, swap the booties for a pair of nude heels - they're great for giving length to your leg.

How can I dress stylishly but comfortably? My husband is sick of my uniform of jeans and black tees.
-@RRPesina, via Twitter
Style should be comfortable. Try a lace top (I like Beyond Vintage's) with wide-legged jeans and a pair of hoop earrings. Or go with spring's neon trend and wear a plain gray T-shirt with neon jeans or cropped trousers. I'm also a big dress lover, and this spring's printed versions are feminine and easy to wear - like those from Marni's collection at H&M. Since you're a jeans-and-T-shirt gal, why not up the feminine factor and pair floral jeans with a loose, thin tee?

I'm a guy who just moved into an apartment with my girlfriend. How can we combine our tastes so the apartment isn't too girly or too masculine?
-Noah R., Park Slope
Take your girlfriend to stores like Restoration Hardware and ABC Carpet to figure out your collective style. If you're on a budget, IKEA carries great pieces that are simple and inexpensive (tip: I adore IKEA comforters). Also, keep this in mind: In life, do you want to be right or do you want to be happy? I'd rather give in sometimes and be happy.

I've noticed you often rock a gorgeous eye. Please let me know what eyeliner you use that stays.
-@jennycove, via Twitter
I'm not a fan of actual eyeliner, so I use eyeshadow. I wet a small brush with Sonia Kashuk' s black shadow (available at Target) and line my top lid; then I use Tom Ford Beauty's Cognac Sable eyeshadow quad, also on my lid. Makeup artist Quinn Murphy taught me that it gives the eye an alluring Raquel Welch vibe - without the heavy liner.
