An assistant principal at a Brooklyn High School has been accused of making sexually-charged comments to three 15-year-old students who thought they were interviewing for a summer job at the school.

William Abreu, 42, allegedly told the girls that if they got a job at Progress High School for Professional Careers, they would become a "second wife" to him, according to Richard Condon, the special commissioner of investigation for city schools. Abreu, who has worked for the education department since 1993, also allegedly asked one of the girls if she would perform oral sex on him.

"You have to come to work looking sexy, so I can see how pretty you are," he reportedly told one of the students. "The assistant principal also informed the student that she should be prepared to perform sexual favors, and should dress provocatively," investigators found.

Arelis Candelario, a school aide that the girls said approached them with the job interviews, was accused of lying to investigators.

Abreu, who earns a salary of $105,975, was reassigned from the classroom, according to officials, and Candelario, who has worked at the school since 2001, was suspended without pay.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's office said it was "looking into" the allegations.
