An autopsy is expected to be performed Monday on a 25-year-old Asian woman who died after apparently jumping out of a 23rd floor window of the luxurious One Columbus Place tower Sunday morning.

The woman fell onto the fifth floor landing of the Manhattan apartment building and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It appears she jumped,” said an NYPD spokeswoman.

Zuzanna Pankowski, 79, a speech therapist who lives in the building, said she saw a body covered with black plastic being loaded into an ambulance Sunday afternoon. “It’s sad,” said Pankowski.

The woman's identity is being withheld until her family can be notified, said a spokeswoman for the medical examiner.
