B'klyn man allegedly hid razors in body
A Brooklyn man was arraigned Tuesday in St. Lawrence County Court for reportedly concealing razor blades and marijuana in his buttocks.
Kendell D. Nicolson, 34, pleaded innocent before Judge Jerome J. Richards to first- and second-degree promoting prison contraband. He allegedly had four razor blades and a small amount of marijuana hidden in his buttocks Aug. 2.
The items were discovered after court proceedings while Nicolson, a convicted felon, was being booked into St. Lawrence County jail. A correction officer conducting a strip search of the Brooklyn man found the items wrapped in two balloons and a condom that was stuffed in his buttocks.
Nicolson appeared in St. Lawrence County Court that day for sentencing. Richards gave him 1 1/2 to 3 years in state prison on an attempted second-degree assault charge.
