Adams cast in 'Woods,' Platt set for 'As You Like It' Amy Adams, who made a fine singing princess in the film "Enchanted," has been cast as the Baker's Wife in this summer's Shakespeare in the Park production of Sondheim's fairy tale musical "Into the Woods." According to BroadwayWorld.com, Donna Murphy is expected to play the witch, the role originally played by Bernadette Peters. In other Shakespeare in the Park news, Oliver Platt and Stephen Spinella have been cast in "As You Like It. 
 "Two-man 'Potter' parody to play Off-Broadway "Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience," a fast-paced parody of the beloved wizard, written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, will make its American premiere in May at Off-Broadway's Little Shubert Theatre after having played Toronto, London and Australia. Performed by Clarkson and Turner, the show aims to condense all seven books into a 70-minute ride. Audience members will apparently even get to play a game of Quidditch. 
 New 'Newsies' cast album online for free listening Can't snag a ticket to "Newsies"? You can now listen to the show's entire cast album, which hasn't even been released yet, for free at WNYC's website. The score, which includes favorites from the film such as "Seize the Day" and "Santa Fe," also includes new songs written especially for the Broadway production. 
 Sondheim, Schwartz, Kushner do 'Lullaby Project' Numerous Broadway composers and playwrights - including Stephen Sondheim, Tony Kushner and Stephen Schwartz - have contributed music and lyrics to "Over the Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project," a two-CD set and hardcover book that will raise money for breast cancer charities. Performers on the album include Raul Esparza, Sutton Foster, Brian D'Arcy James and Vanessa Williams. 
 Gavin Creel to headline 'Book of Mormon' tour Gavin Creel, who most recently played Claude in the Broadway revival of "Hair," will star as Elder Price in the national tour of the Tony-winning show "The Book of Mormon." Andrew Rannells currently plays the role on Broadway. The tour will launch in Denver in August.
