'Exorcist' no longer set to play Broadway? The devil might not be haunting Shubert Alley after all. Reviews for the new stage version of "The Exorcist" starring Brooke Shields, which just premiered in Los Angeles and was expected to transfer to Broadway, have been, well, horrific, with critics complaining that the new adaptation lacks the thrills of the 1971 film version. 
 Harrelson promotes his play with nude girls Woody Harrelson, who co-authored the new Off-Broadway play "Bullet for Adolf," tried to publicize the show on Tuesday night by having three topless women walk around Times Square with the words "Adolf" "Is" "Coming" written above their breasts, as first reported by the Daily News. While some have scratched their heads at such a display, I can't help but wonder if this is the start of a new topless trend on Broadway. One could only hope. 
 'Tommy' rumor for Bieber at Stratford With the rock musical making a comeback, it was only a matter of time till "The Who's Tommy," which premiered on Broadway in the early 1990s, received a major revival. It was confirmed this week that Des McAnuff, who directed the seminal original production of "Tommy," will stage a revival next summer at Canada's Stratford Theatre Festival. But even before this announcement was made, rumors have been spreading that Justin Bieber, who grew up in Stratford, may star as Tommy. 
 Kathie Lee's 'Aimee' likely to hit Broadway "Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Sample McPherson," a new musical about the legendary 20th century evangelist with book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford, will finally make it to Broadway this fall after years of regional tryouts. Carolee Carmello, who has starred on Broadway in "Mamma Mia!" and "Sister Act," will lead the cast.
