Due to the inability of Taymor to reach a settlement with the show's producers as well as Bono and the Edge, her lawsuit for copyright infringement and unpaid compensation has received a trial date of May 28 in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. 
 36-year-old Tony winner retiring It looks like Karen Olivo, 36, who originated the role of Vanessa in "In the Heights" and received a Tony for her performance as Anita in the 2009 revival of "West Side Story," is quitting the acting profession. In a long, rambling and very emotional blog post titled "Starting Over," Olivo essentially said over and over again that she lacks the motivation to continue being an actress. "My abilities have always been bigger than my desire to share them," she wrote. She also noted that she had just split from her second husband. 
 Stritch to give one final week of shows Before she leaves New York forever and moves back to Michigan, where she grew up, Broadway icon Elaine Stritch will offer one final week of performances at the Carlyle from April 2-6. Titled "Elaine Stritch at the Carlyle: Movin' Over and Out," it will freely combine her characteristically acerbic anecdotes with various songs. The $125 cover charge didn't stop the show from selling out in 20 minutes, with a giant wait list, according to a source. You might be better off renting the DVD of "Elaine Stritch at Liberty," her Tony-winning show. 
 Public Theater to bring back 'Pirates' Thirty years ago, the Public Theater staged a smashing revival of Gilbert &amp; Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" (led by a pre-famous Kevin Kline) at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park that later transferred to Broadway. The Public announced this week that it will present a one-night performance of "Pirates" at the Delacorte as its annual gala on June 10. Kazee, Milioti to officially exit 'Once' Last week we reported how Steve Kazee, who won a Tony for his performance in the musical "Once" back in June, has been absent from the show for more than a month on vocal rest. On Monday, the show's producers announced that Kazee and co-star Cristin Milioti will officially exit the show on March 24, to be replaced by Ben Hope and Laura Dreyfuss, respectively. 
 Carol King musical to receive industry reading "Beautiful: The Carol King Musical," a new biographical show based on the life of the well-known singer-songwriter, will receive an industry reading next month that will be directed by Marc Bruni ("Old Jews Telling Jokes"). Its producers are hoping to bring the show, whichwill feature numerous music industry figures including the Shirelles,Dick Clark and Neil Sedaka as characters, to Broadway next season. 
 'Phantom' sequel already getting London revival Although the "Phantom" sequel "Love Never Dies" has still yet to make it to New York, it's already getting a London revival. The show, which opened there in 2010 and received awful reviews, will receive a new production in 2014 based on a modified, and apparently improved,version that premiered in Australia and was filmed for DVD release.
