Benefit concert set for Hurricane Sandy victims

A relief concert for victims of Hurricane Sandy is set for Dec. 12, put on by the same organizations that held the Concert for New York City, a 9/11 benefit.
Details about the concert are scarce, but organizers said that the performers will be comparable to the 9/11 benefit, which included Jay-Z and Paul McCartney.
The event will be put on by Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the Madison Square Garden Company and the Weinstein Company.
The Dolan family owns controlling interests in the Knicks, MSG and Cablevision. Cablevision owns amNewYork.
