Bernie Madoff belongings to be sold in two-day auction

Gold bullion, diamond jewelry and Rolex watches are among the goods once belonging to Wall Street swindler Bernie Madoff that will be sold during a two-day auction beginning Friday in Miami Beach, Fla.

The auction will also feature items found in Madoff’s homes in New York and Florida, such as golf clubs and cufflinks. Madoff is serving a 150-year prison sentence for orchestrating a Ponzi scheme.

Proceeds will go toward compensating his victims. Previous sales of Madoff property has earned more than $103 million.
