Mee-wow!

ASPCA adoption fees on adult cats will be waived, and adoption fees on kittens clawed back from $125 to $50 during the "Cat Friday" event this Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the ASPCA Adoption Center, 424 E. 92nd St.

The third annual "Cat Friday" also provides every cat adopter a free cat scratcher and every dog adopter a free leash. Everyone who takes a new pet home will be given a free foldable bowl, and a certificate for a free veterinary visit at the ASPCA Animal Hospital, which will be good for two weeks. Shoppers who don't land a purr-fect match Friday can receive a discount voucher for a future adoption.

All pets that come through the ASPCA are vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped.
