Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants City Hall staffers to be mindful of their minutes.

Count-up clocks have been installed in meeting rooms at City Hall to help people keep track of how much time is passing. The hope is that meetings will become more efficient.

The Wall Street Journal reported that two of the clocks are in the office where Bloomberg works with his top staffers. Another one is in a conference room and a fourth is in the room where Bloomberg holds morning staff meetings. Another eight are expected to be installed. - AP
