Police identified the body found in a Richmond Hill attic a week and a half ago as a missing Washington Heights teenager.

Samantha Bermudez, 19, was the woman whose heavily decomposed body was found on Aug. 4 inside of a box at the home, where a police officer's brother had hanged himself just weeks earlier, the NYPD said last night. Bermudez had been missing since March, according to a police spokesman.

Cops are investigating whether Devendra Autar, the man who killed himself, also murdered Bermudez.

Autar's police officer brother smelled the body when he went to clean out the home.

The NYPD's investigation is ongoing.
