Britney Spears scores big with 'X Factor' gig

Buzz isn't the only thing surrounding Britney Spears' newly announced gig as a judge on "The X Factor" - dollar signs are.

The pop princess has scored a reported $15 million to join the competition show, according to TMZ.com. "X Factor" honcho Simon Cowell announced on Monday that Spears would join the upcoming season of the series.

Meanwhile, the show's other new judge - Disney star Demi Lovato - will reportedly earn a mere $1 million for her role.

Spears, TK, and Lovato, TK, are filling the chairs vacated earlier this year after Cowell gave Paula Abdul and Nicole Sherzinger the boot. Cowell and record exec L.A. Reid round out the new judges' panel.
