Brooklyn bouncer killed outside club in gunfight: Reports

A bouncer at a Brooklyn club was shot dead Sunday after trying to break up a gunfight that spilled out of the club, according to police and published reports.
The unidentified 32-year-old bouncer was shot at Pat's Palm Tree on Church Avenue in East Flatbush around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the NYPD. He was taken to Kings County Hospital and pronounced DOA.
The man was caught in a melee of bullets between two groups who got off at least a dozen rounds outside the club, according to the Daily News. The bouncer, from the Bronx, was shot about eight times, the News said.
Police don't yet have a suspect and said the investigation is ongoing.
