An abandoned SUV at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge shut down traffic in both directions during the evening commute Monday.
Cops allowed traffic back on the bridge at 7 p.m. after a police bomb squad searched the vehicle, which had no license plates, in the right lane of the Manhattan-bound side, that was spotted at 5:15 p.m., the NYPD said.
Live video from WCBS/2 showed an officer fully dressed in protective gear searching the SUV.
