A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old girl in the Boerum Hill section, police said Saturday.

Robinson Kendell, 18, is charged in the slaying of Al-Taya Conyers outside a church on Wednesday.

Police said Kendell, who lives in a public housing project in Red Hook, shot Conyers in the head just before midnight on Wednesday. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Long Island College Hospital.

Police said the motive in the killing was under investigation.
