Brooklyn has been the epicenter of New York’s indie-rock scene for the better part of a decade, yet most of the city’s major music festivals still take place in Manhattan.
Last year, Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National began to change that by curating Crossing Brooklyn Ferry, a three-day festival that focuses primarily on indie rock and R&B, but also includes composers, filmmakers and visual artists.
