Brooklyn woman discovered with fatal gunshot to neck near Brookdale Hospital

Cops are hunting for the suspect who killed a Brooklyn mother outside a Brooklyn hospital early Tuesday.

Officers discovered Shalema Gaskin, 32, lying on the ground near Brookdale Hospital around 3 a.m. with a bullet wound in her neck. She died after being rushed into the hospital.

Gaskin was at the hospital visiting her daughter according to published reports but the police wouldn't comment on why she was there.

The NYPD named no suspects or had any motive behind her killing as of Tuesday evening.
