There’s something about Cameron Diaz.

The Tinseltown star tops the list of the most dangerous celebrities to search for online, computer-security software maker McAfee Inc. revealed Thursday. Searching for the latest photos or downloads of the actress resulted in a 10 percent chance of getting a website with a virus or other online threat.

“Consumers are getting smarter about searching online, yet cybercriminals are getting sneakier in their techniques,” said Dave Marcus, a McAfee security researcher.

It’s far from an Oscar, but landing atop the annual list carries a distinction all its own: It means that criminals believe those celebs are the perfect lures to sucker people into visiting malicious websites.

Rounding out the rest of the top five are Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel (who last year headed the list), Gisele Bundchen and Brad Pitt. Politicians such as Barack Obama and Sarah Palin were found to be among the safest.
