The Carnegie Deli, the famed eatery that opened in 1937 and closed at midnight at the end of 2016, is about to reopen in Manhattan, once again near Carnegie Hall.

Confirming social media intrigue that swirled earlier this week, the deli’s publicist said the deli’s third-generation owner, Sarri Harper, would be at the helm of the company as it serves up family recipes — corned beef and pastrami on rye, bagels, latkes, knishes, chopped liver, smoked fish, "legendary oversized New York cheesecake" and more.

The opening is expected in mid-September at 834 Seventh Ave., just down the block from its former location at 854 Seventh Ave., and will have seating for 110.

Since closing nearly 10 years ago, on Dec. 31, 2016, the Carnegie Deli brand has maintained its presence at locations such as the U.S. Open, Madison Square Garden, Saratoga Race Course, online and pop-ups, including in SoHo for the Amazon Prime Video show "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

On Monday, the Carnegie Deli X and Facebook accounts posted: "The sign is up. The secret is out. Carnegie Deli is coming soon to Midtown Manhattan."

The deli, once a hangout for the likes of comedian Henny Youngman and other big names, will be restored to capture the original Carnegie Deli experience, including its famous illuminated sign, wood-paneled walls and iconic Wall of Fame covered in celebrity photographs," according to the restaurant's publicist.

The deli played a key part in Woody Allen's film "Broadway Danny Rose," according to the deli's website.

"Scenes filmed at Carnegie Deli open and close the movie, giving it a nostalgic, authentic New York vibe," the site says.

The year before the deli closed, it made the news after it temporarily closed, having been allegedly caught using a piece of plumbing that Con Edison said was used to misappropriate natural gas for six years, according to reporting in The New York Times.
