Carrie Underwood is ready for some football.
For the 2013 NFL season, the six-time Grammy winner will sing the opening theme for Sunday Night Football on NBC, the network announced Tuesday. The 30-year-old replaces Faith Hill, who rocked the tune “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” for the past six years.
Underwood will debut on Sept. 8, when the Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys.
“I am so excited to be a part of Sunday Night Football!!!” Underwood tweeted Tuesday.
