A prop taxi used in the Canadian version of the game show “Cash Cab” hit and killed a pedestrian in Vancouver over the weekend, police said.

The unidentified 61-year-old Surrey man died at the hospital, according to police.

Filming was not taking place at the time of the crash and the driver, a producer for the show, was cooperative with investigators. The driver was not charged.

In “Cash Cab,” a version of which is shot in New York City, unsuspecting contestants are picked up and asked trivia questions en route to their destination.
