If you can't make it to Florence to see Michelangelo's "David," you'll get the chance to glimpse a replica at the Storefront for Art and Architecture. The 21c Museum in Kentucky - dedicated to collecting and exhibiting art of the 21st century - will be showing off a double-size golden replica of "David" by Turkish artist Serkan Ozkaya. The statue will pass through New York tomorrow before making its way to the Louisville museum. Brad Goreski
Stylist and reality TV star Brad Goreski will be signing copies of his new book, "Born to Be Brad," on Wednesday evening at the Fashion Institute of Technology Bookstore. Goreski formerly worked as the style director for Rachel Zoe, with whom he made his foray into the world of reality TV. He is now the star of his own reality televison show on Bravo, "It's a Brad, Brad World" (airing Mondays at 10 p.m.). 'Banagaku eyes: Large large large large grand strategy'
Dance New Amsterdam is hosting the Banana Gakuen Theater Company from Japan on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the Japanese tsunami. Admission is FREE, but proceeds from the cash bar will be donated to the disaster area in Japan. DNA will screen "Banagaku eyes: Large large large large grand strategy," which chronicles the work of the Tokyo-based theater company.
