Harry Belafonte memoirs
Actor, performer and activist Harry Belafonte will be discussing his new memoir, "My Song," with Khalil Gibran Muhammad, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture director, this Wednesday. The event kicks off the latest season of the Schomburg's "Word Rapport" series. The event is FREE, but registering beforehand is a good idea. Register online or by calling the Schomburg Center. 'To Me There's No Other Choice - Raoul Wallenberg 1912-2012'
Raoul Wallenberg rescued tens of thousands of Jews during World War II, and now the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Institute and the American-Scandinavian Foundation are honoring him with an exhibition celebrating his life on the 100th anniversary of his birth. St. Patrick's Day Parade
Don ye all your green apparel, because it wouldn't be March without the St. Patrick's Day Parade! Everybody's Irish on March 17, so grab your green garb and head over to Fifth Avenue this Saturday, anywhere from 44th Street to 86th Street, to display your Irish pride and celebrate St. Paddy.

The Impossible Project
When Polaroid closed its plant in 2008, the Impossible Project was founded, dedicated to creating new instant film for Polaroid cameras. Check out the special exhibit in celebration of the recently launched Polaroid Classic line, featuring renowned artists Gary Baseman, James Franco, Maripol, Mary Ellen Mark and Jennifer Juniper Stratford.
