Mobilis in Mobili: An Exhibition of Steampunk Art and Appliance
Step into the world of Steampunk - a cultural movement that mixes the aesthetics of the Victorian era with futuristic fantasy - at the Wooster Street Social Club. The underground subculture is breaking into the mainstream arena, and the exhibit "Mobilis in Mobili: An Exhibition of Steampunk Art and Appliance" puts on view art, fashion, jewelry, guitars, bicycles, timepieces, sculptures, desks and more, all walking a makeshift line between Victorian history and contemporary culture in pieces by some 20 artists. (Closes Jan. 14, noon-9 p.m. daily, FREE, Wooster Street Social Club, 43 Wooster St., 646-545-3300, woostersocial.com)

David, Delacroix and Revolutionary France: Drawings From the Louvre
The French Revolution makes its way to the Morgan Library & Museum tomorrow as Alison Hokanson, research assistant in the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, discusses drawings created in France from the onset of the Revolution in 1789 to the establishment of the Second Empire in 1852. It's pretty unusual for the Louvre to loan out a collection of this magnitude, so make sure you take advantage of the opportunity. (Friday, 7 p.m., FREE, the Morgan Library & Museum, 225 Madison Ave., 212-685-0008, themorgan.org)
