Exhibit

'GE's 'Throttle Up'
Take the opportunity Thursday and Friday to stroll through the world premiere of GE's "Throttle Up" live interactive hologram experience. The exhibit takes you inside the engine of a Boeing Dreamliner, all within the confines of a warehouse in DUMBO. The 30-foot-by-20-foot hologram demo is a fully immersive, motion-controlled, interactive 3-D exhibit that's on display as part of Creative Week. It closes Friday, so don't miss it! (Ends Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., FREE, 56 Water St., DUMBO, creativeweek.com)

Photography

'Unnatural Formations'
The American-Scandinavian Foundation is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its fellowship program with an exhibit of works by U.S.-based landscape photographers Stephen Hilyard, Simen Johan and Lydia Anne McCarthy. The 25 shots in the exhibit showcases pictures snapped during the photographers' travels to specific locations in Scandinavia. Various images are combined to create simulated environments, so it may be difficult to tell what's reality versus what's art - which is totally the point. (Extended through July 28, Tues.-Sat., noon-6 p.m., FREE, Scandinavia House: The Nordic Center in America, 58 Park Ave., scandinaviahouse.org)
