Robin Antar's 'Realism in Stone'
Though they may look good enough to eat, don't try to bite into Robin Antar's sculptures; you might chip your teeth on the marble. Antar's work is on display at the Pop International Galleries this month, making her the first female artist to exhibit at the gallery in New York. Antar's "Realism in Stone" pieces depict iconic staples of our everyday life, including things like condiments and snacks. Stop by and check out "Boxing Gloves," "French's Mustard," "Heinz Ketchup" and "Bag of Milano Cookies," among others. (Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m., FREE, Pop International Galleries, 473 W. Broadway, 212-533-4262, popinternational.com/robin-antar.html)
