CBGB Music & Film Festival FREE Times Square concert

Catch the tail-end of the Second Annual CBGB Music and Film Festival this Saturday as top bands and DJs take over Times Square in a culmination to the six-day fest. Performances will occur on five outdoor stages on Broadway, featuring the likes of Lisa Loeb and The Wallflowers alongside up-and-coming artists. Also on hand will be interactive installations like a music equipment expo, skateboard half-pipe, rock climbing wall, record fair, silent disco and much more. 21st Anniversary Little Red Lighthouse Festival

What's that little red building standing ground under the tower of the George Washington Bridge? Why, it's the Little Red Lighthouse, of course! This Saturday afternoon, come out and celebrate this historic city landmark with the 21st Anniversary Little Red Lighthouse Festival in Fort Washington Park in Northern Manhattan. Festivities will include tours of the lighthouse (tickets will be handed out at noon and are available on a first-come, first-served basis), readings from the children's book "The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge," fishing clinics, live entertainment, food vendors and plenty of activities to keep everyone in the fam busy.
