Choreographer for troubled 'Spider-Man' to be cut: report

The “Spider-Man” hatchet keeps swinging, and now the cursed Broadway show’s choreographer is reportedly next on the chopping block.

Producers are in talks to replace Daniel Ezralow with Chase Brock, a Brooklyn choreographer in his last 20s, a Bloomberg News report said. The potential change-up comes after director and lead creative force Julie Taymor was cut loose last month and replaced with Philip William McKinley.

"We knew [Ezralow] was never coming back," an anonymous cast member told Bloomberg, because Ezralow "was a Julie person."

Ezralow, 54, choreographed the show's aerial fights, which have been among the few aspects of the show critics have praised. He previously worked with Taymor on her 2007 Beatles musical "Across the Universe" and her 2000 Broadway show "The Green Bird."

Brock's last Broadway credit was a 2003 revival of "Wonderful Town," Bloomberg said.

The troubled $70 million show has been in previews since last November. Its opening night has been pushed back six times, and is now slated for June 14.

A spokesman for the show said "there have been no more additions to the creative team.”
