Endlessly troubled hip-hop star Chris Brown was arrested for felony assault yesterday for allegedly punching a man after yelling anti-gay slurs at him outside a hotel near the White House, according to police and reports.

If Brown, 24, is convicted, it would be a violation of his probation — for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 — and he could be sentenced to up to four years behind bars.

According to published reports, the alleged victim “photobombed” Brown as he was taking a picture with two women, at which point Brown allegedly shouted at the man, “I’m not into this gay s---, I’m into boxing,” and punched him in the face, TMZ reported.

Brown’s camp said the man and his friend were trying to get onto Brown’s bus and the singer was preventing that, TMZ reported.

Brown’s rep didn’t respond to a request for comment.
