Chris Christie apparently wants four more years.
The New Jersey governor, a Republican star who has enjoyed record-high popularity for his approach to superstorm Sandy, yesterday filed papers announcing his intention to seek a second term next November.
Christie, who's famous for his candid news conferences and sound bites, was criticized by some party members for his praise of President Barack Obama's handling of the catastrophe.
The governor was also a rumored vice presidential choice this year for Mitt Romney, who eventually chose Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.
The former U.S. Attorney defeated incumbent John Corzine in 2009, and potentially could face Newark Mayor Corey Booker next year.
