Christie Brinkley is still reeling with emotion because of her messy 2008 divorce from architect Peter Cook.
The 58-year-old supermodel had a teary meltdown on NBC's "Today" show Tuesday morning, saying all she wants is "peace" for her family.
"I just want peace, and every time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, [Cook] has to try to destroy it," Brinkley told Matt Lauer in the emotional interview. "And the courts need to learn how to deal with this kind of situation."
The couple divorced four years ago, after Cook, 53, admitted he had been cheating on Brinkley with an 18-year-old. And until now, Brinkley - who has one daughter with Cook - has managed to stay mum on the subject of their marriage, while Cook has slammed Brinkley on TV, even calling her a "narcissistic egomaniac" in one recent interview.
