Column: Is Microsoft ‘Scroogling’ itself with attacks on Google?

But contrary to popular belief, it wasn't the most interesting piece of advertising in 2013.
That title belongs to Microsoft's Scroogled campaign, which aims to turn the tide of public opinion against Google in the style of classic Washington D.C. attack politics.
