Confirmed: Snooki is pregnant and engaged

It's official: Snooki has a ring on her finger and a little meatball in the oven.
After weeks of rumors, the 24-year-old "Jersey Shore" starlet finally confirmed her big news Wednesday.
"We can officially confirm that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle," a rep for the reality starlet told amNewYork Wednesday. "Nicole is thrilled to finally be able to share her happy news with her fans."
Snooki is currently filming a "Shore" spinoff in Jersey City with pal Jenni "JWoww" Farley. A rep for MTV wouldn't comment on the show's plot surrounding Snooki's pregnancy, only saying: "We support her as she starts this new chapter of her life."
As for the sixth season of "Shore," "no decision has been made yet," said the MTV spokesperson.
Snooki first announced the news of her pregnancy and engagement in Us Weekly.
