A Staten Island cop was charged Monday with grand larceny after allegedly swiping two iPads from the car of a person he was arresting, police said Tuesday.

Anthony Rivera, 39, who worked out of the South Shore precinct, also faces charges of criminal possession of stolen property and official misconduct.

Rivera allegedly stole the goods from a car parked near a Target shopping center on Staten Island. Police could not immediately say why the five-year cop was making an arrest.

The NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating.
