A taxi driver arrested Monday for allegedly raping a drunken female passenger at knifepoint last spring is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a second woman, according to the NYPD.
Gurmeet Singh, 40, of Queens, faces charges of rape, robbery, assault, sex abuse and menacing after police say he assaulted a 26-year-old woman in the back of his cab in May.
Cops now are investing whether Singh assaulted a drunken 23-year-old female passenger last September, the NYPD said. In that attack, Singh allegedly walked her into her apartment and raped her and stole items.
Singh has not been arrested in the second attack. His TLC license has reportedly been suspended.
