Police are looking for the parents of a newborn baby found bleeding in a backyard in Queens.

WABC-TV says the boy was discovered Sunday morning outside a home in South Richmond Hill.

It says the umbilical cord was still attached.

The infant was taken to a hospital where he is recovering.

Police reminded the public that the "Save Haven Law" allows anyone to drop off a newborn at a police precinct, a fire station or church with no questions asked.
