Police are searching for six people who assaulted a man near the Christopher Street PATH station on Sunday.

An unidentified 44-year-old New Jersey man was beaten around 6:30 a.m. Sunday by three men and three women near the station's entrance on Greenwich Street, officials said.

The group chased the man from the turnstiles to the outside of the station, where they punched and kicked him, a Port Authority spokesman said. The suspects were in the their 20s.

The man was treated at the scene for cuts and then got on a train to New Jersey. He went to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
